It is important to know
v. Bjni St. 4th, 1st Blind Alley, 7

In the village of the same name in the Kotayk region, there is the castle of Bjni, which was once a powerful military structure.
The history of the fortress begins in the 10th-11th centuries, when the Pahlavun founded a fortress that was the main fortress of the Nig province. The ruler of the fortress was Vasak Pahlavuni. The fort of Bjni is protected by rocks from the south, east and west. The north and west was protected by a pyramidal retaining wall, which is half-destroyed nowadays. Many ruins of buildings can be seen here.
